A client rejects your concept outright. What now?
Find out what is actually wrong underneath the words used, offer a revision that keeps the strategy, and say when you would push back with a reason. Panels are testing collaboration, not compliance.
How do you work with a brief that has no clear direction?
The questions you ask to fill the gaps, and how you present options rather than a single answer. Describe the moment you got sign-off, since ambiguity is the normal state in agency work.
- Cut the portfolio to your six strongest pieces. Volume weakens the average, and the average is what they remember.
- Have the messy version of one project ready: the first draft and the feedback that changed it.
