Java Developer resume
A Java developer resume gets screened for your Java version, your framework and the kind of systems you've built. Most Indian postings for Java roles mention Spring Boot, microservices and a database, so recruiters look for those words and for proof you've used them on a live project.
- 01Core Java and the version you work in, plus Spring Boot.
- 02The systems you built: REST APIs, microservices, batch jobs.
- 03Databases and messaging you've used, like MySQL, PostgreSQL or Kafka.
- 04Scale or performance numbers from your own work.

Put down only what is true and what you can be interviewed on. A term you cannot defend will win you the screening and then lose you the interview.
Worked on Java Spring Boot APIs for the banking client.
Built six Spring Boot REST APIs for the loan origination module, handling 15,000 applications a day with response times under 200 ms.
- Putting Struts and JSP up front when the posting asks for Spring Boot.
- Writing 'knowledge of microservices' without naming a service you built.
- Leaving out the Java version. Interviewers ask about features from the version you claim.

Check My ATS Score FreeShould I mention the Java version on my resume?
Yes. If you work in Java 11 or 17, say so, and be ready for questions on streams, lambdas and the newer language features.
How do I show microservices experience?
Name the services you built or owned, how they talked to each other, and one problem you solved, such as a slow call you fixed or a failure you handled.
Is Spring Boot enough, or do I need cloud skills too?
Spring Boot gets you most interviews. Adding Docker and one cloud platform, usually AWS, widens your options at product-based companies.
