Probationary Officer resume
A PO resume is unusual: the exam decides most of it. What the resume does is carry your academics cleanly, show you understand the job is a branch job, and give the interview panel something to ask about.
- 01Graduation percentage or CGPA, and the year — the panel opens on academics.
- 02Which exam you cleared and in which attempt, stated plainly.
- 03Banking awareness signals: certifications, internships, relevant coursework.
- 04Willingness to relocate. Rural and semi-urban posting is the job, and hedging on it reads badly.

Put down only what is true and what you can be interviewed on. A term you cannot defend will win you the screening and then lose you the interview.

Cleared IBPS PO 2025 in the first attempt, scoring 78.5 in mains; B.Com graduate at 8.4 CGPA with a six-week internship in branch operations at a district cooperative bank.
- Padding with unrelated skills. A PO panel is not looking for graphic design; it dilutes the page.
- Writing "seeking a challenging role in a reputed organisation". The panel has read it a thousand times that morning.
- Being vague about relocation. Say yes clearly, or do not raise it.
