Wipro interview questions
Wipro's Elite National Talent Hunt is the main graduate route, and the round most candidates underestimate is the written communication test: an essay, marked, that a genuinely strong technical candidate can still fail.

Aptitude
Timed, sectional
Quantitative, logical reasoning, verbal.
Written communication test
A short essay on a general topic, evaluated on grammar and structure
Sentence construction, spelling, paragraphing. Filters more people than candidates expect.
Coding
Two problems, in C, C++, Java or Python
Basic data structures and clean, compiling code.
Technical plus HR interview
Often combined into a single conversation
Project, fundamentals, bond and relocation.
Walk me through your project and what you would change about it now.
The second half is the real question. Naming a genuine weakness and the fix demonstrates more than defending the original design.
Difference between C and C++ / Java and Python.
Pick the pair you actually use. Two or three real differences beat a memorised list of ten.
What is a pointer? What is a dangling pointer?
Standard for C and C++ candidates. Know memory allocation and deallocation alongside it.
Explain the SDLC and which model your project followed.
Services interviews ask this often. Have a specific answer about your own project rather than a generic waterfall description.
Are you comfortable with the service agreement and the bond amount?
Read the current terms before the interview. Agreeing to a figure you have not seen is how candidates end up in disputes later.
Why should we hire you?
Two specific things you bring, tied to something on your resume. Avoid adjectives: hardworking and quick learner are on every resume in the room.
Would you be willing to work in night shifts?
Common for support and infrastructure roles. Answer honestly rather than saying yes to get through the round.
- Practise the essay. Write three 200-word essays on general topics under time and check them for grammar. This round eliminates strong coders every cycle.
- Wipro interviews lean more on fundamentals and communication than on hard algorithms. Distribute your prep accordingly.
