Group your skills by category
Languages, frameworks, tools, databases. A wall of comma-separated keywords reads as padding; grouped skills read as someone who knows where each thing fits.
Make projects specific and measurable
Name the problem, the stack and the outcome. "Built a food delivery app" is generic. "Built a delivery-routing service in Go that cut average assignment time from 40s to 6s" is a conversation.
Positions of responsibility count
Club lead, fest coordinator, team captain: these are the only leadership evidence a student has, and interviewers use them for behavioural questions. Include the scale, meaning team size, budget, attendance.
Cut school marks once you are in third year
Class 10 and 12 percentages matter for some campus rubrics and nothing else. If your target companies don't ask, use the space for a project instead.

Three strong ones. Five weak projects signal that none of them went deep.
Do I need a GitHub link?
For any software role, yes. Make sure the linked repositories actually have readable code and a README, though. A dead link is worse than no link.
